Our Apartment No. 1 is lovingly appointed and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday for two.
The house is laid out as a studio and features a combined living and sleeping area, a fitted kitchen with dining area and a modern shower bathroom. Air conditioning is, of course, provided.
A small seating corner with a table invites you to rest and unwind. Right next to it, a table with two chairs offers a cosy spot for your meals.
The fitted kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, a fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave, a toaster and a coffee machine.
The sleeping area features a wardrobe and a comfortable double bed that guarantees restful nights. Bed linen is naturally provided.
The stylishly tiled bathroom has a large shower, a toilet and a washbasin. Plenty of towels are provided.
You are welcome to use the shared washing machine.
In front of the studio there is a covered terrace – the perfect place to switch off and let your mind wander.

Our holiday home No. 2 is the largest and most luxurious house at Cortijo Alegría. Across 150 m², it offers everything your heart could desire.
This house serves as the communal restaurant for our groups while also accommodating 2 guests.
The restaurant is furnished in typical Spanish style and features a dining area and an open-plan kitchen.
The cooking area leaves nothing to be desired. It is equipped with a four-burner cooker, a fridge with freezer compartment, a toaster, a microwave, a fully automatic coffee machine, and high-quality crockery and cutlery. The kitchen is bordered by a counter, from which you can overlook the living and dining area and take in the wonderful view of the large terrace and the swimming pool. The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with light, showing off the modern and Andalusian design elements of the living area to their best advantage.
From the restaurant, you reach the large bedroom, furnished with a comfortable double bed and a spacious wardrobe offering plenty of storage. You can enjoy the view of the pool from the bedroom the moment you wake up.
Adjoining the bedroom is the spacious bathroom, featuring a toilet, a shower, a bathtub, two washbasins and a washing machine. The guest toilet is reached via the hallway.
The highlight of the holiday home is the enormous terrace with its outdoor kitchen. A four-burner cooker with oven, a sink, a dishwasher and a barbecue make for an unforgettable open-air cooking experience. The terrace also features sun loungers and a dining table with chairs, while two historic carriages round off the high-quality furnishings. Through the archways in front of the terrace, you enjoy a dreamlike view over the pool and the blue Mediterranean.
The holiday home also boasts a large roof terrace – a wonderful spot to soak up the sun and truly relax.
If you feel like being active instead, we recommend an outing to the beautiful Sierra de Mijas nature park and to the cities of Málaga and Marbella, just 28 km away.

Our very own wedding chapel
Standing at the entrance gateway of Cortijo Alegría, you will notice a small path leading up to a hilltop. There it stands in all its glory: the beautiful, one-of-a-kind wedding chapel of Cortijo Alegría on the Costa del Sol.
From this highest point of the entire Cortijo, you are treated to a dreamlike view of the brilliant blue Mediterranean and the surrounding nature park of Mijas.
At midday, the chapel is bathed in bright sunlight. The sun's rays stream in through the four skylights, aligned with the points of the compass, casting the altar in a beautiful glow. This also shows off the ceiling painting to wonderful effect – it was inspired by the Sistine Chapel in Rome.
From the gallery, you look directly down onto the altar and the entire interior of the chapel, which seats around 30–40 guests in total.
Our chapel can be used for visits as well as for private weddings, christenings and church services. The viewing terrace in front of the chapel makes an ideal backdrop for photographs. We are happy to take care of the entire organisation of your wedding – with everything that goes with it (e.g. priest, music, accommodation for your guests and catering).

In the heart of the nature park, close to everything
Just 20 minutes by car from Málaga airport and 10 minutes from the sea, Cortijo Alegría lies below the famous mountain village of Mijas and above Fuengirola, right in the Sierra de Mijas nature park. Here you will find the peace and relaxation that make the Costa del Sol so special.
The drive from Málaga airport is very straightforward: the motorway takes you directly to Fuengirola, and from there it is only a few minutes into the nature park. We are happy to meet you at a central meeting point to make your first arrival easier. Detailed directions will be sent to you by email once your booking is confirmed.

Die Anlage liegt versteckt und ganz ruhig in der Nähe von Malaga. Ein romantisches Haus, wo man sich total wohlfühlt und die Ruhe geniessen kann.
Liebevoll und geschmackvoll sind die Appartements eingerichtet und vor allem die Außenküchen sind super. Das Pool konnten wir fast alleine genießen und die herrliche Ruhe. Die Besitzer sind ganz liebe und außergewöhnliche nette Gastgeber. Hier sollte man unbedingt einmal gewesen sein.
Cora, der Hund ist ebenfalls zum Gernhaben.

Sehr schöne Anlage in einem wunderschönen Naturparadies. Die Kombination aus kurzen Wegen zu unendlich vielen interessanten Orten sowie zum Flughafen und trotzdem absolut ruhig und zauberhaft gelegen ist einzigartig. Ein wunderschönes und sehr gepflegtes Anwesen.
Die beiden Besitzer haben die Unterkünfte mit viel Liebe zum Detail und mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet. Unser Appartment war sehr sauber. Es empfiehlt sich u. U. für den Anfahrtsweg nicht unbedingt einen Sportwagen od. ein tiefer gelegtes Auto zu buchen.
Wir wurden gleich zu Beginn sehr lieb von den beiden Empfangen und genossen die Gastfreundschaft von zwei ganz besonderen Menschen. Auch haben Sie es geschafft sich um uns zu kümmern und uns trotzdem unsere Privatsphäre zu lassen. Auch die Hilfsbereitschaft der beiden muss lobenswert erwähnt werden.
Wir haben eine tolle Zeit dort genossen und können die Cortijo Alegria definitiv weiterempfehlen. Ein traumhaftes Anwesen die von zwei wundervollen Menschen geführt wird.

Wir waren nun schon 3 mal bei euch und ihr habt uns so liebevoll empfangen. Bei euch zu sein ist jedesmal wunderschön, ob Erholung oder Abenteuer, beides ist bei euch zu finden. Euer Anwesen ist traumhaft, eure Unterkünfte lassen keine Wünsche offen. Gern sehen wir euch bald wieder!!!

wir haben ebenfalls einen super tollen Urlaub auf der Finca bzw. dem Cortijo gehabt. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich wunderschön - idyllisch, ruhig, erholsam, sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet usw. usw. Kann man nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Wir hoffen, dass wir sehr bald wiederkommen dürfen :-). Geheimtip für Spanienliebhaber!!!!!!

Hallo Ihr zwei Lieben und natürlich Chiquitta, "Mr.Spuck",Bomi und Mausi, wer hätte das gedacht das die drei Wochen sooooo schnell an uns vorbei gezogen sind. Wir kamen, wir sahen und wir verliebten uns in das wunderschöne, mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtete Stück Paradis.Euer herzliches Aufnehmen und die Gastfreundlichkeit haben uns tief beeindruckt!Wir wärs......nächstes Jahr, gleiche Zeit ? Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen und Euch beide wiedersehen. Herzlichen Dank auch an die Familie Volkmann.....wir sind sooo froh Euch alle kennen gelernt zu haben!!!

Wir haben einen wunderschönen erholsamen Urlaub verbracht, diese herrliche Ruhe ist wunderbar. Wir sind noch immer total hin und weg und schwelgen in Erinnerungen, können es noch garnicht glauben, dass der Urlaub so schnell vorbei ging.
Tipp: Die Ferienwohnung Nr. 1 ist wirklich ideal für zwei Leute, die Terrasse ist schön schnucklig, total irre die Aussenküche!
Nochmals vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub, die Aufmerksamkeit und Fürsorge der netten Gastgeber, die herzliche Atmosphäre.

wir wollen uns für die schöne Zeit in Spanien bedanken und nochmal unsere Lob aussprechen für das wunderschöne Ferienhaus auf eurem Anwesen.Hätten wir vorher gewust was uns erwartet wären wir gleich für zwei Wochen geblieben.
"Oase der Ruhe" trift es wirklich sehr treffend und so erholt sind wir noch aus keinem Urlaub zurück gekommen.
